As the Executive Director of a small non-profit organization more than 20 years ago, I learned quickly that understanding and being proficient in all aspects of development are essential to the success of an organization and its sustainability.

I now lend my many years of experience to non-profits that all too often do not have a development function within their organization or need help in a specific fundraising area or for a special campaign. Unlike many fundraising consultants who come to Dayton from other cities, my family and I all live and work in Dayton. I know the region well; but, more importantly, I care deeply for the community and want to see it thrive. My advice and work will always be honest, thoughtful and from my heart. My clients will know that what I want most for them is their success.

I have a broad and balanced non-profit background, which encompasses great mission diversity, enhancing my knowledge of development. I have spent two decades building and maintaining relationships with board members, donors, elected officials, volunteers and corollary organizations throughout the region. Because of my time with Kids Voting, Cox Arboretum, The Dayton Art Institute, Hospice of Dayton and the Dayton Society of Natural History, I am connected to the community in a comprehensive and meaningful way.
I also have extensive knowledge of annual fund drives and direct mail, membership acquisition and retention, corporate and foundation grants, major gifts, planned giving, special events large and small and capital campaigns. I am a member of AFP- Association of Fundraising Professionals. Additionally, I am well versed in marketing and public relations, as well as board and staff training and strategic planning.
